I started out attempting to log in this a.am via 3D Explorer
and had a seat, but could never get the presentation to load.
So I then went to Stream 57 and listened to watched a couple sessions.
While listening to speakers I tried to get some of the immersive platforms to load again.
I never got The VirtualU 3D immersive environment (with a download)
as it requires Windows.
Diddled around with Unisfair platform that looked promising, but I kept timing out before anything would load.
Finally got everything updated, updated Real Media and FireFox, and reregistered to get a new password to load InXpo http://bit.ly/InXpoLIve_VirtualEdge. Once I had all this updated things seemed to work well.
My actual sessions attended seemed to be streamed through the
Stream57 platform.
The truly wonderful thing I will take away from these talks and about VE in general is the many platforms or hosts through which you could, theoretically, attend/access the meetings. Meeting planners need to know there are a full range of “venue” options with more appearing everyday.
